Call for Nominations for IEEE Council on RFID Officer Positions (2022-2023). We are looking for the best people from a variety of backgrounds, with a strong desire, enthusiasm and willingness to serve the Council. We particularly encourage the suggestion of candidates who have previously served in roles that support publications, conferences, or membership and chapter activities.  As in previous years, we strive to balance the representation of elected members with regards to demographics and diversity. IEEE WPT Student Design Competition in the framework of WPW2022 which will be held in Bordeaux (France) on July 4-9, 2022 it is now opened the call for proposal for a student design competition. Please engage your students to team up and participate to this competition, we are still open to receive expression of interest. Purpose To encourage young generations to join the research and development of WPT (Wireless Power Transfer) technologies. To demonstrate the WPT capabilities for promoting public acceptance and practical applications of WPT systems. Participants Teams can include undergraduate and/or postgraduate students. High school students may also join in special cases. Staff members can only serve as advisors. Procedure

The digital twins (DT) and parallel intelligence recently play a central technological role in the emerging global scientific and research communities on intelligent systems. Taking place in Beijing, China, DTPI 2021 aims to bring together academic scholars and industrial practitioners to share in scientific and technological advances as well as to gain a deeper understanding of the digital twins generating real-virtual system interactions and resulting in parallel intelligence. DTPI’s particular topics also include various vertical applications of DTPI, including industrial Internet, transportation, energy, robotics, manufacturing, healthcare, etc. The conference program, scheduled from July 15 through August 15 in 2021, will showcase the state-of-the-art of the theoretical development and application practice

Raymond Delnick of GS1 US was selected as recipient of the Richard Dilling Award.
