IEEE CRFID Call for Nominations

Call for Nominations for IEEE Council on RFID Officer Positions (2022-2023).

We are looking for the best people from a variety of backgrounds, with a strong desire, enthusiasm and willingness to serve the Council. We particularly encourage the suggestion of candidates who have previously served in roles that support publications, conferences, or membership and chapter activities. 

As in previous years, we strive to balance the representation of elected members with regards to demographics and diversity. Diversity is important and please keep this in mind in terms of geography, gender, industry/Govt/academia, experience, young professionals, etc.

 Please note:

  • Self-nominations are accepted;
  • Current holders of the VP and AVP positions who are completing a first term as of 31 December 2021 are eligible for the ballot to serve a second term but they must have a nomination form submitted;
  • The position of President-Elect is a two-year term with a six-year commitment, as the normal progression is from President-Elect (two-year term) to President (two-year term) and then to Past-President (two-year term).
