Congratulations to our new Council President, Luca Catarinucci.  Luca Catarinucci is an Associate Professor of Electromagnetic Fields at the University of Salento (Lecce, Italy), where he holds the chairs of Microwaves and Electromagnetic Solutions for Hi-Tech and leads the EM-Tech Laboratory. His research focuses on RFID systems, antenna and microwave circuit design, RFID-based sensing, and additive manufacturing for electromagnetics, including fully 3D-printed RFID tags and advanced printable materials. He has authored over 190 scientific publications and holds two national patents in RFID technology. ABOUT GO GREEN!! HACKATHON The Go Green!! Hackathon brings together secondary (high school) and collegiate interdisciplinary teams for an immersive two-day collaborative learning experience in Midland, MI. Teams (comprised of two to five students) will be challenged to create solutions in support of circularity in the healthcare, manufacturing or food and agriculture industries. Prizes will be awarded to the top two high school and collegiate teams. Solutions are encouraged to use digital technologies such as barcodes, radio frequency identification (RFID) and other real-time location systems in the development of their solutions.
