MSU’s Axia Institute to Host Go Green!! AIDC Hackathon

ABOUT GO GREEN!! HACKATHON

The Go Green!! Hackathon brings together secondary (high school) and collegiate interdisciplinary teams for an immersive two-day collaborative learning experience in Midland, MI.

Teams (comprised of two to five students) will be challenged to create solutions in support of circularity in the healthcare, manufacturing or food and agriculture industries. Prizes will be awarded to the top two high school and collegiate teams.

Solutions are encouraged to use digital technologies such as barcodes, radio frequency identification (RFID) and other real-time location systems in the development of their solutions.

Nuno Borges Carvalho

Nuno Borges Carvalho (S’97–M’00–SM’05-F’15) was born in Luanda, Angola, in 1972. He received the Diploma and Doctoral degrees in electronics and telecommunications engineering from the University of Aveiro, Aveiro, Portugal, in 1995 and 2000, respectively. He is currently a Full Professor and a Senior Research Scientist with the Institute of Telecommunications, University of Aveiro. He coauthored Intermodulation in Microwave and Wireless Circuits (Artech House, 2003). He has been a reviewer and author of over 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.
