Become an IEEE CRFID Ambassador: Lead the Future of RFID and IoT Technologies!

Are you a professor, researcher, faculty member, or experienced industry expert in the field
of RFID and IoT technologies? The IEEE Council on Radio Frequency Identification (IEEE
CRFID) is inviting professionals like you to join our global network as IEEE CRFID
Ambassadors. This role offers an opportunity to support the dissemination and
development of RFID/IoT technologies within your local community and country.

What Does It Mean to Be an IEEE CRFID Ambassador?
As an IEEE CRFID Ambassador, you will be responsible for organizing and hosting the
IEEE CRFID Day at your university or in your country, conducted in your preferred
language. This event is designed to bring together students, young professionals, industry
experts, companies, and citizens to discuss and explore the potential of RFID/IoT
technologies. The focus of the event will be aligned with your specific expertise, allowing
you to highlight the advantages and applications of these technologies within relevant
fields.

Key Responsibilities:
 Organize IEEE CRFID Day: Plan and execute a day dedicated to the exploration of
RFID/IoT technologies, featuring talks, demonstrations, and practical experiments
that showcase real-world applications and success stories.
 Facilitate Expert Discussions: Lead discussions that explore how RFID/IoT
technologies are addressing challenges and integrating with other advanced
technologies, such as sensors and IoT.
 Receive Financial Support: The IEEE Council on RFID will provide financial support
support of up to $1,500 to assist in organizing the event, ensuring that you have the
necessary resources to make it a success.
This role provides a platform to engage with your community, share knowledge, and foster
collaboration between academia and industry.
