Orlando, FL (April 2018) The IEEE Council on RFID (CRFID) announced today that Mohammad Alhassoun, Michael Varner and Gregory Durgin of Georgia Institute of Technology are the recipients of the Best Paper Award for the IEEE RFID 2018 technical conference co-located with RFID Journal Live! 2018.
The paper entitled, “Design and Evaluation of a Multi-Modulation Retrodirective RFID Tag” presents an antenna design that reflects incident radio waves from an RFID reader directly back to their source for maximum communications range and reliability.
