IEEE ORSS 2023

2nd Opportunity Research Scholars Symposium

21 April – 3 June 2023 . Online

IEEE ORSS is an online research conference for undergraduate co-authored works that will be peer-reviewed for publication. Accepted authors present via a pre-recorded video as well as at a separate interactive presentation arranged by the local track chair. This is a mentored experience that has instructional videos about the peer-review and manuscript preparation process as well as opportunities for practice peer-review rounds. Superlative papers will be given a best-paper award, an invitation to present at an IEEE CRFID international conference of choice, and a travel voucher to attend.

Consider submitting a manuscript corresponding to one of the following tracks:

Congratulations to our new Council President-Elect, Ali Abedi Ali Abedi, Dr. Ali Abedi is Vice Chancellor for Research at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a professor of Electrical Engineering. New Council President

Congratulations to our new Council President, Luca Catarinucci.  Luca Catarinucci is an Associate Professor of Electromagnetic Fields at the University of Salento (Lecce, Italy), where he holds the chairs of Microwaves and Electromagnetic Solutions for Hi-Tech and leads the EM-Tech Laboratory. His research focuses on RFID systems, antenna and microwave circuit design, RFID-based sensing, and additive manufacturing for electromagnetics, including fully 3D-printed RFID tags and advanced printable materials. He has authored over 190 scientific publications and holds two national patents in RFID technology.
