IEEE RFID-TA 2023



September 4-6, 2023

On behalf of the organizing committee, we are inviting you to the 13th edition of the International Conference on RFID ­Technology and Applications (IEEE RFID-TA 2023) which will be held in Aveiro, Portugal, September 4-6, 2023, at the University of Aveiro, Campus Universitário de Santiago, 3810-193 Aveiro.

This year the IEEE RFID-TA will be also co-located with the International Conference on Wireless for Space and Extreme Environments (WiSEE 2023) (September 6-8, 2023).

The IEEE RFID-TA 2023 provides a forum for the advancement of RFID technology and practice. It aims at strengthening relations between industry, research institutions and academia and gives attendees a unique opportunity to share, discuss, and witness research results in all areas of RFID technologies and their applications.

The IEEE RFID-TA 2023 is seeking high-quality submissions for papers (from 2 to max 4 pages) on RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) and adjacent topics (see https://2023.ieee-rfid-ta.org/ for details), that will be published in IEEE Xplore. IEEE RFID-TA 2023 is an opportunity to share, discuss, and witness research results in all areas of RFID technology and its applications. Participation of young researchers is strongly encouraged and supported via Young Researcher Grants (see https://2023.ieee-rfid-ta.org/ for details).

Nuno Borges Carvalho (S’97–M’00–SM’05-F’15) was born in Luanda, Angola, in 1972. He received the Diploma and Doctoral degrees in electronics and telecommunications engineering from the University of Aveiro, Aveiro, Portugal, in 1995 and 2000, respectively.
