CALL FOR NOMINATIONS The IEEE Council on RFID seeks nominations for volunteer council officers serving two-year terms beginning on 1 January 2027.   Secretary/Treasurer: Be responsible for all reports, petitions, and records concerning the Council; keeping true and faithful minutes of all Council meetings; and preparing reports required by the Council, TAB, or the IEEE Executive Committee. Soundarya Korlapati is a Senior Research Engineer for Retail Applications at the Auburn University RFID Lab, a research institute at the forefront of the business case and technical implementation of RFID and emerging technologies across retail, supply chain, and manufacturing. Specializing in UHF RFID systems, retail inventory analytics, and supply chain visibility, her work bridges research and industry through product development and end-to-end traceability initiatives with leading industry partners.
